The Jackie Gibson Marathon race was held In the early hours of Sunday morning on the 31st of March 2019. The CMH Toyota Alberton team helped set up for the race. The weather conditions were unfavourable, however the coffee we provided kept the runners at the top of their game
CMH Toyota Alberton set up a stand distributing water and cold beverages to the runners keeping them well hydrated. To keep the runners mentally focused we had live entertainment accompanied by our dedicated staff cheering them on.
The event was the 74th Jackie Gibson Marathon which was held at Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre. The marathon started at 10:00am and runners had an option of either the 42.2km marathon or the slightly shorter marathon which was 21.1Km.
CMH Toyota Alberton’s stand was greatly valued and appreciated by the athletes on the day, the stand was truly memorable and will be sure to be a topic of discussion from the runners until next year’s marathon. The CMH Toyota Alberton team are already preparing for The Jackie Gibson Marathon race.
