On the 8th November 2018 CMH Toyota Alberton set up displays and sponsored water for a hole at the Bell Equipment Golf day.

The CMH Toyota Alberton team arrived early to ensure that the displays were set-up and refreshments were available for the golfers to enjoy while passing by. On show for all to view was the new shape Toyota Hilux.

A combination of the refreshments and the new shape Toyota Hilux on display made us popular amongst the golfers. The new car manager Frans Van Sittert informed the golfers of the new Toyota Hilux’s advanced security features and its new shape making the New Toyota Hilux a tougher experience.

The Golfers were amazed to see that the new Toyota Hilux has a flamboyant new interior design that seems to deliver the toughness and functionality needed in a working capacity, as well as the convenience and refinement expected in a private vehicle. One of the Golfers pointed out that there is truly no skimping on comfort or style with the New Toyota Hilux’s elegant exterior.

CMH Toyota Melrose At The Rand Athletic Club (RAC)

CMH Toyota Melrose- City Lodge 32km Tough One

CMH Toyota Melrose have recently partnered with the Rand Athletic Club (RAC), one of the biggest running clubs in South Africa. On Sunday the 25th November 2018, RAC hosted the 45th annual City Lodge 32km Tough One. This is one of the toughest runs on the calendar and this year was no different.

We were placed at the 16km halfway mark, and enjoyed a morning of supporting all the runners who took part in the race, whilst we also enjoyed some valued time out of the office together. The event was well attended with over 6 000 runners taking part in this year’s edition. A lot of planning and logistics goes into an event of this magnitude, and as always the race organizers didn’t disappoint.

We are very proud to be associated with such a prestigious event on the running calendar, and would like to thank Dick Welch, the chairman of RAC, his wife Vreni Welch, Malcolm Gibbons and everyone who made this event possible, and for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful event and we look forward to being a part of many more RAC organized events in the near future.

On the 4th of June 2018 CMH Toyota Alberton announced and introduced the all New Toyota Hilux to their customers.

Customers were excited by the advanced safety and security features. Many of our customers were impressed to find out that the new Toyota Hilux comes out with airbags, robust ladder frames and many more exciting extras.

With its tough and luxurious exterior, it’s no wonder our customers were so exhilarated by the new Hilux. The most exuberating aspect of the new Hilux range was its advanced sports engine with greatly enhanced power, better torque, better low speed off-road performance, improved fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions.

The New Toyota Hilux is fully loaded with innovations, ready to take on any terrain with ease. Active Traction Control and differential lock keeps you secure on any surface. Downhill Assist Control gets you down slopes smoothly. Hill Assist Control gets you up inclines without rolling back and Trailer Sway Control stabilizes the connection between the Hilux and a Trailer. The Dashboard has also been modernized, the lever on the centre console has been replaced with an electronic transfer switch. At any given moment, simply flip the switch and you can choose between 4WD, 4WD Low and 2WD.

CMH Toyota Alberton’s Specials Event Day

CMH Toyota Alberton held their specials event day on Saturday 25th of August 2018.

The morning kicked off at around 09:00am at CMH Toyota Alberton, all customers were invited to come through and join us at the Dealership to view and test drive the two main specials of the day the Toyota Hilux Single Cab and the All New Toyota Yaris.

The Vehicle that truly stood out for the customers on that day was the popular Toyota Hilux Single cab, customers saw how tough the Toyota Hilux truly is for any type of terrain. The sales executives also gave the customers some background regarding the Toyota Hilux and showed them why it is such a popular in-House Fleet vehicle.

Sales manager Richard Pretorius advised the customers that The Hilux legacy is legendary and since its introduction in 1969, the model has etched an enviable reputation for itself across the globe, where its durability, strength and outright quality, has entrenched itself in the hearts of its owners. Within the light commercial vehicle market (LCV), customers no longer only expect toughness and durability from their ‘bakkie’, but are placing much greater emphasis on comfort, convenience and design. The ‘bakkie’ of today needs to fulfil a multi-purpose role, and not merely as a ‘jack of all trades’ but in fact it needs to be a ‘master of all’. The interior design of the Hilux sets new standards for a light commercial vehicle. The same design ethos of tough and advanced was used to create an interior that combines ruggedness and practicality with innovation and design.

The Specials on the Toyota Hilux Single Cab and New Toyota Yaris were for a limited time only thus attracting a lot of attention for good reason, especially the New Toyota Yaris for the Millennials.

Amcare & CMH Toyota Alberton’s Golf day

CMH Toyota Alberton supported Amcare at the Annual Golf day at the Reading Golf Club on the 2nd of August 2018.

CMH Toyota Alberton executives stood waiting at Hole 17, Cheering on the Golf players and providing them with some snacks and cold drinks. The Automark department of CMH Toyota Alberton also displayed their latest certified used vehicle specials which were on display for the Golf players to view and test drive. The New Toyota Rush and the New Toyota Yaris were truly the show stoppers of the day.

Amcare centre of Faith, hope and love provided CMH Toyota Alberton with some history, in 2001 a vision was born Rev Neill Robinson and the Leaders of the Alberton Methodist Church decided to establish an outreach program.

A social survey was done amongst the people of the Alberton Community and it was decided that a shelter would be made available for Victims of Domestic Violence, to feed the hungry, care for the destitute, heal the sick and look after the orphans and the elderly. As well as to give Comprehensive HIV & AIDS services and Skills Development Services. A Steering Committee was formed under the late Dave Bevan.
